Khartoum War Cemetery I

Right in the middle of the Capital and in the very heart of all the hustle and bustle of Khartoum lies this hidden piece of forgotten history.

Khartoum War Cemetery is one of the must visit places here, it is right next to St Francis School in Khartoum off Africa street. It explains the role of The Sudan in the East Africa War 1940-1941. This cemetery can be mistaken and seen as a graveyard, however, the real graves were moved somewhere else and their tombs were left as a memorial.

The remembrance day this year is on the 10th of November which will be a Sunday so don't forget to show your support and remember all the brave soldiers who lost their lives at this devastating event in the human history.
