What's funny about the currency here in Sudan is that it is not recognised outside the country. You can't take money with you and expect to change it somewhere outside of the country. That's why foreigners and locals tend to change their money into whatever currency before they leave.
The notes start from 1 which is the lowesr up to 50 which is the highest. The currency is called Sudanese Pounds or 'ginaih'.
These are the coins which are called piastres or 'girsh'
