This is the fort which is located right next to the big Mosque in Sohar. It has been renovated on one side (the one facing the main road) however the back side is the fascinating one. As for the souq, its entrance is right at the corniche so if you find yourself walking down the corniche one day you will not miss the amazingly lit Souq.
