Yesterday was the opening ceremony of the first Sudan Independent Film Festival in Khartoum, Sudan organized by the Goethe Institute.
Sadly, I wasn't able to attend the ceremony due to work commitments. The ceremony was flawless and numerous people attended it. It took place at Khartoum International Community School.
The festival will be playing independent movies locally produce, directed and finished from different countries for about 6 days; from January 21 to 27 of 2014.
These are photos of the French Institute in Khartoum where I attended the Spirit Boy the Kenyan entry at the festival.
I also included a photo of the festival's schedule to all the Arabic readers out there.
